The pianist Maria Daroch was born in 1983 in Lodz in Poland into an artistic family.
She began her musical education as a pianist at the age of 7 at Wieniawski Music School in Lodz.
In 2002 she graduated from the Henryk Wieniawski Secondary Music School in Lodz receiving a diploma with distinction.
In 2008 Maria Daroch graduated with distinction from the Katowice Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music under Prof. Czeslaw Stanczyk where currently she works as an accompanist. Maria Daroch is also a holder of the Chamber Music Diploma with distinction from Staatliche Hochchschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Mannheim in Germany under Prof. Michael Flaksmana and Prof. Michael Haubera.They graduated in 2007.
She has participated in many international and national piano courses and seminars among them:
International Master Classes with following Prof.: B. Ringeissen, W. Nossina, E. Poblocka, P. Skrzypek, J. Stompel, A.Artykiewicz, W. Wojtal.In 2001 participation in International Music Course “Gold Country Piano Instytute” in Nevada City (USA) / in the class of Prof. Lee Kum Sing (China).
She has won many awards at the following national and international piano competitions.
Together with her brother performing as the Daroch Duo won many cello & chamber music competitions. As a soloist she has performed with Artur Rubinstein Philharmonic Orchestra and Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra in Gdansk and Philharmonic Orchestra in Kalisz.
She has made many recordings for Polish and German Radio.
Maria Daroch is also a holder of the Artistic Scholarships founded by the Polish Ministry of Culture, Lions Club, Yehudi Menuhin Live Musik Stiftung and Kunststiftung Baden-Württemberg in Germany.
Since 2003 she has performed as a member of family piano trio “DAROCH TRIO” together with her siblings.
